I Have Severe Muscle Cramping Just Below My Ribs, Usually

I have severe muscle cramping just below my ribs, usually one the right side but now both sides. I can actually see the muscle bulging out. It lasts roughly a minute or two but then the pain from it persists for days. I also have had muscle cramping in both hands of late. Any suggestions would be helpful. Also what kind of doctor would I see for this ?
