I Have Severe Pain In My Knees. Getting Up And

I have severe pain in my knees. Getting up and down can be painful. recently, I have been getting severe and unbearable pain in my knees and ankle joints. My knees feel like they are on fire and throbbing with pain that can last for hours. I am taking many prescription pills and I am going to see a specialist in a few weeks. I don't know if I can last a few weeks.nSometime the pain is so bad I want to die. what could be the problem be?
