I Have Severe Pain In My Legs, Hips And Knees.

I have severe pain in my legs, hips and knees. It isn't constant. It seems to get worse at night. Feels like a toothache in the joints. I was diagnosed with Lyme's Disease 3 years ago. I did the regiment of Doxycycline for 8 days. If it was arthritis wouldn't it hurt all the time? Why would it get worse at night?
