I Have Severe Pain On The Left Side Toward The

I have severe pain on the left side toward the back. I have been belching a lot. I went to the er two days ago and they ruled out a kidney stone but did no further testing. pain is worse when I am standing and better when reclined in chair. one dark stool three days ago but normal since then. No fever just lots of pain.
