I Have Severe Soar Throat For 7 Days Now Accompanied

I have severe soar throat for 7 days now accompanied with severe cough. I did throat swab result negative for strept. I have no fever but my ears hurt and throat on scale 10+. I cry each time swallowing saliva.
Here is what I have been doing for past 7 days:
1. Gargle with salt
2. Honey lemon tea
3. propolis spray
4. Emergency C started today

Please help I feel miserable
