I Have Shingles And Have Been Prescribed ACICLOVIR Which I

I have shingles and have been prescribed ACICLOVIR which I take 5 times a day but I am still in so much discomfort and pain and once I get to bed I am unable to sleep and I get horrible jumpy nerve pains and it feels as if I can feel every beat of my heart/pulse.It makes me feel quite panicky and I have been told that paracetamol will not help.
