I Have Small Black Dots On My Hair Causing Hair

I have small black dots on my hair causing hair loss also see black spots all over floors but do not seem to be alive
Dermatologist looked at samples abd said dirt ?? I know they must be coming from a bug in my body
Also saw in stool help
What can they be
