I Have Small Caged Finches. I Keep The Cage Clean.

I have small caged finches. I keep the cage clean. I seem to be getting allergic to them because my hands and arms itch whenever I go near the cage or change their food and water. Is there any hope for this situation? I do not think the birds have lice or mites.
