I have small, red bumps that itch intensely. They are few in number but seem to show bilateral symmetry, in that they will be located in roughly the same spots on both sides of my body: hands, neck, back of thighs, etc. They are very long lasting. Some I have had for months. They itch more when warm, as with warm water, than cold. Hydrocortisone has minimal impact. I did have a shingles vaccination almost a year ago. I am 61 yrs old and was recently examined by my dermatologist, though not for these bumps. Any ideas? Thanks.
