I Have Some 500 Mg Methocarbamol Prescribed By The Vet

I have some 500 mg methocarbamol prescribed by the vet 11-29-14 and wonder if I can give it to my miniature poodle and also my chihuahua for anxiety caused by thunderstorms and fireworks. The tabs are cut into quaters and prescribed for one 3 times daily. Thanks very much for your answer.
