I Have Some Red Patches On My Arms, Thigh, Legs

I have some red patches on my arms, thigh, legs every time i got out from thr shower. I went to the doctor and he prescribe Loprox crean and Betaderm cream. I almost finish the whole thing but it doesn't work. Do i have an allergy? I have a very sensitive skin since i was a little girl and i am lactose intolerant too. the doctor prescribe me a medication for cholesterol, but im not taking it everyday, because i don't like taking medication it give me headache. the doctore said the level of my cholesterol is 4 i don't know what that mean?
