I Have Sometimes Severe Pain On The Left Side Of

I have sometimes severe pain on the left side of my abdomen. It went away for a while but it is back now. I am concerned this is pancreas related. I really have no other symptons so I figured I pulled a muscle, My appitite is fine but I am gaining weight since its too painful to work out.
