I Have Stage 3 Anal Cancer, I Had To Go

I have stage 3 anal cancer, I had to go ER to be treated for pain. The doctor gave me 2 Fentenyl patches and the pharmacist scared me from taking it because he told me not to take it until 24 hours after I took my blood pressure med, so now I am in very much pain and do not to put patch on or not? Can you advice me?
