I have stage 4 metastatic head & neck cancer. I'm getting some waxy discharge from a very small wound in my neck near the tumor which is near the carotid artery. I had a small bleed but since the bleeding stopped, I've been seeing this waxy discharge. I don't see my doc until Tues. Is this discharge a bad sign? Can you tell me anything about it?
