I have suddenly (over the past year) developed a sense of vertigo, which, at first, was really quick in coming and going. Now, it is every time I bend over, or lay down and then get up and lasts much longer. Sometimes I can walk down the hall and back before it stops but I'll be unsteady on my feet when it happens, and cannot walk very straight. Yesterday, I discovered a big vein I NEVER saw before, but was then "bulging" on my forehead. It ran from the top of my head running down to the corner of my right eye, almost to the tear duct and I feel pressure behind my eyes from time to time, which gives me a slight headache that were not common to me before, in fact, rarely ever. They do go away with ibuprofen or Aleve, which prior to these headaches, never worked except on aches and pains. I was stressed out big time yesterday and as soon as I calmed down, the vein in my forehead disappeared again. My ears seem clogged sometimes and my teeth hurt severely (I DO need dentures) when this is all going on. But I have had the ear looked during this before and was told it was fine. I thought it may be because of a middle ear infection but was told that was not the case. Any suggestions as to what it might be? I have not increased or decreased my caffeine intake by much and my diet is relatively the same. I am slightly overweight but not severely. I am going through peripause and I am a 52 year old female. Can you help me figure out what it is?
