I Have Suffered A Severe Traumatic Brain Injury From A

I have suffered a severe traumatic brain injury from a car accident. Ever since I have experienced infections on my forehead that come for no apparent reason.
My forehead started swelling again yesterday and has continued. Since it doesn't exactly match the symptoms of osteomyelitis I have a hard time getting help from Dr.'s.
What else could it be? The swelling comes right by the scar where they sutured my bones together.
