I Have Suffered From Stomach Cramps Especially Around The Navel

I have suffered from stomach cramps especially around the navel for over 10yrs and never thought they were serious. For the past 3 years I have suffered from bloating that eventually caused severe back and side pains. Today, I did both a colon and gastro scopes and I was given 2 packs of Hyospasmol, is it safe to start taking them today and what exactly are they for?
