I Have Swelling In My Ankles And Top Of My

I have swelling in my ankles and top of my feet. After having to wear heels all day the swelling is worse and my felt foot has what I feel might me nerve pain in my toe next to my big toe. I am recovering from knee surgery on the right knee, keeping me standing mostly on my left foot all day. What can I do for this intense pain?
