I Have Swollen Tonsils That Make It Difficult For Me

I have swollen tonsils that make it difficult for me to breath. I saw a throat specialist a few months ago and was told I have acid Reflux. I'm on 2 medications currently for it. It makes the redness go away but my tonsils have not shrunk at all. Now for the past 5 days or so I've noticed red bumps on the back of my tongue and throat. I have anxiety so it's been worrying me. My throat has also still been sore the past few months. I take cough drops regularly. I think I might need to revisit the throat specialist. Do you have any advice?
