I Have Taken Losartin For Over 20 Yrs. I Went
I have taken Losartin for over 20 yrs. I went to the ER last Wednesday with hives and a swollen upper right lip.
The doctor said it was Losartin. Can this be the culprit?
Haven't had Losartin since last week, still had hives up tilll last night. No symptoms today. I'm on Predisone and Benadryl right now though. My Dr. Increased my Metoprolol by 50mg. So I'm taking 150 mg a day to replace Losartin. My blood pressure was still high today and he wants me to introduce Losartin again tomorrow to see if it wasn't the culprit. I'm on Simvastatin, 81 Asprin, and Zetia also.
Should I introduce my system back to Losartin or ask for another blood pressure pill?
