I Have Taken Montelukast For Years And Find It Causes

I have taken montelukast for years and find it causes heartburn if I take it very late in the evening. I have tried taking it with water, milk, almond milk, etc. with no help. Is it really necessary to take this at bedtime? I am thinking that if I could take it at 7 p.m. with a full meal it might take away that heartburn.
