I Have Taken Two Courses Nitrofurantoin For An ITU That

I have taken two courses Nitrofurantoin for an ITU that reoccurred. I am now into the third month of taking one 100mg pill a day to suppress the infection. Four days ago I started having mild stomach cramps that while tolerable are uncomfortable I plan to call my doctor on Monday, meantime should I stop taking this medication?
