I Have Taking Dogmatil 50 "on And Off" For The

I have taking Dogmatil 50 "on and off" for the last month.
I have history of arrythmia and now it is coming back. I tried to stop taking the med, however my heart was pounding and felt restless. My md said that i could stop taking the med anythime. Please advise
