I Have The Herpes Virus And Use Acyclovir 200 Mg

I have the Herpes virus and use Acyclovir 200 mg Capsules and the 5% ointment when treating an outbreak. The ointment is especially expensive and I wonder if I could take the capsules everyday to keep the virus in check and not need to use the ointment. The condition is under control most of the time but I have an occasional flare up.
