I Have The Medina Coil Fitted For 8 Months All

I have the Medina coil fitted for 8 months all my periods have been regular and very light andlasted a day mabye. Two. 2days ago I had. Really bad stomach cramps and started Avery painfully period which is a brown colour and its about a week early. Is this normal. Thanks
