I Have The Mirena IUD And I Recently Bought Instead

I have the Mirena IUD and I recently bought Instead Soft Cups for my period, but the packaging says to talk to a doctor first about using them together. Will I be alright using them? I'm want to have intercourse, but my period is kind of blocking that from happening, so I just want to know if the soft cup is okay to use
