I Have The Implant In My Arm, Following A Fall

I have the implant in my arm, following a fall and catching my arm I've experience a painful arm and not been feeling very well... could I have broken the implant if so what do I do from here, as when I've spoken to GP I have to wait almost a month to get an appointment to have it removed.
