I Have These Blood Red Splotches On The Roof Of

I have these blood red splotches on the roof of my mouth and the skin on the sides right in front of my tonsils is very red and hurts. I currently have had sinusitis and pneumonia over the past few days and on on antibiotics. My throat has been sore most of the time but I just noticed this today. Could it be a reaction or just a virus working it's way out?
