I Have These Hard Nail Like Consistency Type Hairs. They

I have these hard nail like consistency type hairs. They come out when they are in a place I can pull them out but they are reoccurring all over my body mostly on the side of my abdomen and on my bottom. Does anyone know what these are? Because there are so many on my bottom I have considered waxing it to try and remove them all.
