I Have Thin Skin On My Arms. For About A

I have thin skin on my arms. For about a year I've developed red blotches that take a while to go away. The dermatologist said I was losing the collagen that coated blood vessels and to use Amlactin or Cera Ve lotions. It's helped, but not enough. Any suggestions?
