I Have This Aching Pain In My Middle Finger For

I have this aching pain in my middle finger for sometime now. When this first started, I was given cortosteroid injection in my right palm to the middle finger. The pain went away and has returned-pain is from my right shoulder down to my hand and to my middle finger. Is this carpal tunnel?
