I Have This Huge Lump On My Head On The

I have this huge lump on my head on the right front side iys been there about 4 years it started out the size of a nickel and grew so slowly at first I didn't even notice but in the past year and a half it's gotten huge it's basically sticking out and looks like half a golf ball as if the other half was inside my head. It is very noticeable now and I can barely cover it with my hair. And it's starting to hurt a little or be sore every now and then and the rest of the time kinda feels numb. The hair that grows from the bump is really kinky like it was crimped. I don't know what to do being I don't have any medical insurance. How serious is it?
