I Have This Smell Coming From Between My Legs. I

I have this smell coming from between my legs. I had a boil or something on my anus in April that lasted around three weeks but I never saw the doctor, it was quite big but eventually went away. Ever since I've noticed this smell and it seems to be getting worse. My friends say that can't smell anything but it's not right. Could there be a problem with the healing of this boil or whatever it was?
