I Have This Strange "callus" Bump On My Right Thumb.

I have this strange "callus" bump on my right thumb. I think it was about a year ago when it appeared overnight and continued to build up. It is a white bump and due to ripping it off my nail grew into the empty space. Yet, the callus still grows over it. I have done tons of googling and this is my best and last option. Diagnosis?
