I Have Tried Every Pain Medication Therein On The Market

I have tried every pain medication therein on the market with minimal relief. I have bilateral peripheral neuropathy in my arms/hands and legs/feet. The fentanyl patch has latex, which I am allergic to. So, before the last two months I have been on 400mg morphine/day, 8mg dilaudid 8/day, gabapentin 800mg 6 tab/day, zonisamide 100mg 4cap/day, Keppra 500 4cap/day; among other meds. These allow me to exist. There is no living going on, I can't cook, clean, eat at the dinner table. I lay in my bed & pray my pain will ease up so I can shower. So my Pain Specialist thought that the Butrans patch would help (she believes the pain receptors are clogged), so 2 months ago she started weaning me off the morphine weekly. Well, the astronomical cost aside of the Butrans patch, I started the patch, 20mcg, yesterday, 11/14/15. at 11:30 am. I was told that it would take 4 hrs for the patch to start working and I didn't take any dilaudid Friday night so I wouldn't overdose. I still have not had any relief from the patch. I have had to take some morphine (100mg) and low amount of dilaudid (8mg q 3 hrs) to ease the pain. I know i have the patch on correctly. Hard to put one on wrong, only one sticky side and the printed side goes outward. So, what is going on?!?!?!
