I Have Tried Several Times To Put A Tampon In

I have tried several times to put a tampon in but every time I try, it's like it hits a wall and it hurts.. I took a mirror and looked but there's literally no hole there... There's like.. Flesh blocking it. I've tried to see what it is but it's just like a wall and I have no hole.. What's wrong?
