I Have Trouble Swallowing For The Past Few Days And

I have trouble swallowing for the past few days and gets worse during evening to night. Am recovering from fever,cough and flu and just had my tonsil remove a month ago. Felt slight burn and even cause pain when swallowing my saliva. Is there something wrong? I have an uncle who passed away of throat cancer. Just curious.
