I Have Two Children That Are Both Running A Fever

I have two children that are both running a fever and I mixed up times on their ibuprofen. I gave my 8 year old 10ml of Ibuprofen within a 2 hour time frame. He is asleep now, but has woke up yelling "mom" and just now clapping his hands. This is very unlike him and he does not remember. Do I need to seek medical attention?
