I Have Type 1 Diabetes And My Clit Has All

I have type 1 diabetes and my clit has all of the sudden become very swollen and hurts really bad when I close my legs and walk, I'm not sexually active so I know it's not an std or anything like that. I just wasn't sure if there was and correlation between me have diabetes and my issue, it's extremely painful and I wasn't sure if I could make the swelling go down or anything.
