I Have Type 2 Diabetes, My Morning Numbers Have Been

I have type 2 diabetes, my morning numbers have been running high 170 - 184. I take 5mg Glipizide in am. Can I take 2.5 mg before bed? I have high blood pressure and cholesterol taking tricor and Lipitor and Lisinprol. I'm over weight by 50 lbs and do not exercise. I do not smoke
