I Have Used Tampons Before But This Time It Burned.

I have used tampons before but this time it burned. When I took it out the color on the tampon was a rust color and white discharge on it. What does that mean?
Last night after I made love with my husband I passed gas severl times from my vagina. That's never happend. Or if it does only 1 not several times.
