I Have Venous Lake On My Top Lip In The

I have venous lake on my top lip in the centre. It's not too big but people keep asking what it is. It is not exactly pretty. Hospital wants to excise it but this will cause scar. There is a type of laser which cures it without scarring,but hospital doesn't have it. I have been using haemorrhoid cream on it for over a week with some small success. If I kept using this cream would it cure it. I reckoned haemorrhoids and venous lakes were very similar.
