I Have Very Itchy, Tender Red Skin On My Groin

I have very itchy, tender red skin on my groin area and on my waist area from side to side. I have lost about 60 pounds recently to a car jacking and brutal physical beating which resulted in me having a debilitating bacterial infection in my lower back. I was given a pic line and gave myself daily treatments of anti- bacterial treatments for 6 weeks. That was several months ago. This problem began in just the last 2-3 weeks. The bacterial infection has left me with the permanent inability to stand up or walk upright. It stays moist but I try to keep it dry with medicated powder and it makes it worse. I've used Dr. Smiths spray (recommenced for incontinence, providing a moisture barriers, provides some temporary relief but still leaves the area moist, thus inflamed and itchy). Could this just be a yeast infection and what would be the best way to treat it or what type of physician to seek treatment? Thank you in advance for your advice.
