I Have Very Severe Itch On My Groin And Inner

I have very severe itch on my groin and inner thigh.It has been going on for several years and due to constant scratching it cause the area to change colour to black.I have never consulted a doctor because i'm shy of my condition. Could you please help me to get rid of the itch and the black skin?
