I Have Very Sharp Pain Only In My Right Leg.

I have very sharp pain only in my right leg. A few weeks ago I had a problem with my lower left back, was told by my doctor it was a pinch nerve. Just as I was back to about 90% pain free, the problem with my leg started. The pain is so intense at times I can hardly walk. The pain is so intense I have to sit down. I was given 600mg Ibuprofen, which helps a little with the pain. The area of concern is the whole upper front and calf. ?
