I Have What I Think Might Be A Rash On

I have what I think might be a rash on my fingers on one hand. It is a tiny pinpoint surrounded by a circle of normal skin (maybe half a cm in diameter) surrounded by more red skin. My fingers are slightly painful and sensitive to touch, if left along the redness seems to spread of get bigger over time, with the initial pinpoint merging into the redness. It started on one finger, now several have it either on the pad of the finger, or just where the fingernail and finger meet. It all looks like it's under the skin.
