I Have What Appears To Be A Hemorrhoid, I've Never

I have what appears to be a hemorrhoid, I've never had it before, but this occurrence has lasted over 2 months now. It is not terribly painful, but is a bother. From most of the research I've done it seems there isn't much that can be done about them, so should I even bother going to a doctor?
