I Have What Feels Like A Pinched Nerve Which Ranges

I have what feels like a pinched nerve which ranges from my neck to my shoulder . It is a burning prickly pain which itches sometimes and there is swelling but the one thing I notice more is the prickly stinging pain that burns as well . Can you tell me if it is indeed a pinched nerve or something else and what can I do about it . I also have a problem with turning my head as well .
