I Have What Seems Like A Protruding Vein That Begins

I have what seems like a protruding vein that begins at the base of my armpit and run into the top of my breast. It is slightly tender to the touch. I've had this in the past and it seems to come and go. I don't feel any lumps, but am slightly concerned. The vein is almost in a squiggly line.
