I Have What Started As Pimples As Far As I

I have what started as pimples as far as I can tell, behind my ears...now they seem to just be pockets that fill with a thick pus that has a horrid smell...like a woman who hasn't washed well in a while...how do I get rid of them? Is it a yeast infection under the skin?
